Quantum Software Development introduces the practical implementation of quantum computing algorithms using IBM's Python-based Qiskit https://www.ibm.com/quantum/qiskit . The course expects a solid background in Introductory Linear Algebra (MA122) but does not require prior knowledge of quantum mechanics. Students will engage in hands-on projects to apply quantum programming concepts, and if time allows, will explore introductory Quantum Machine Learning.
